The impact of modern communication application on society

In the 1840s and the late 1870s the development of the telegraph and telephone made rapid long-distance communications possible. Both media began in local areas and then rapidly spread around nations accelerating the pace of social interaction, migration, commerce, and government activities.

But the innovation in electronic communications continued to progress during the 1940s. The need to deliver signals to communities in remote mountain areas led to the early development of communication systems, which with the adoption of coaxial cable, and more recently fiber optic cable helped companies to deliver video, voice, and data services to customers, in a very accurate way on TVs and phones. So now it is very easy to send and receive signals and to communicate with whole world easily.
